Buried to Grow
There are moments in life when you feel hidden.
You’ve prayed, you’ve waited, and still… nothing seems to move. It feels like life has buried you — under responsibilities, disappointments, or the quiet ache of unanswered prayers.
But lately, I’ve come to understand something beautiful:
I’m not buried to die… I’m buried to grow. 🌱
When a seed is planted, it’s covered in darkness. It’s pressed into the soil, unseen, and left alone for a while. But beneath the surface, something sacred is happening. That seed is breaking open so it can become what it was meant to be.
Maybe that’s where you are right now — in the breaking, in the becoming.
And it’s okay. Growth often begins in the quiet, hidden places.
God hasn’t forgotten you.
He’s working in the soil of your life, even when you can’t see it.
> “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,
“plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”
— Jeremiah 29:11 🌿
You may feel unseen, but you are planted with purpose.
Every tear, every waiting moment, every closed door — it’s preparing you for what’s ahead.
Sometimes God covers you because the world isn’t ready for your bloom yet.
When it’s time, you’ll rise.
When it’s time, everything that tried to bury you will become the very ground that feeds your growth.
> “The Lord will perfect that which concerns me.”
— Psalm 138:8 💛
So while you’re waiting, keep believing.
Keep nurturing your faith.
Keep trusting that your roots are going deeper, your strength is being renewed, and your breakthrough is on its way.
You may feel buried right now — but in God’s timing, you’ll bloom into everything He promised you’d be.
Reminder
“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven.”
— Ecclesiastes 3:1 🌷
