Sir Lesley Scott - God works in mysterious ways

"His purposes will ripen fast,
Unfolding every hour;
The bud may have a bitter taste,
But sweet will be the flower."

These are the words given to me by Leslie Scott. 86 years old, and still travelling the bus from Mitchells Plain to Bellville and back. Tilting his head while greeting me every night as I get on the bus to go home. I am so fascinated, by the handsome 86 year old gentlemen. (**,)
Not even my husband can top this man's manner.
Finally I got a chance to sit next to him and he smiled. Immediately we started talking and what he said was His purposes will ripen fast, Unfolding every hour; The bud may have a bitter taste, But sweet will be the flower.

I introduced myself, exchanged names and I can actually say, the rest is history. Heheheheeee!!
I was mesmerized by the quote and he he gave a brief explanation what it means. It's almost two weeks since we met and I still can't forget those words. In the beginning of this month, I was told I'm being retrenched  from work and I gave it to God. I did however feel that my time at this place is up and God has something new in store, but I didn't understand the way it was done.
Who am I to question God? Why not just leave it in His hands?

Leslie Scott made it clear that God will reveal the purpose behind everything. It is unclear right now, but in His time I will understand. This morning I am so blessed, because God never lies. He gave me a scripture and I NOW understand what Leslie Scott meant when he gave me that quote.
Jesus answered; "You don't really know what I am doing, but later you will understand." John 13:17

The time has fully come that we wait on God. When God promise you He will not harm you, He means it. We are so scared of the unfamiliar, forgetting this familiar has been unfamiliar not too long ago. If God has brought you till here, He can take you further. This retrenchment is a blessing, because God has blessed me with something new. I am forever grateful. The void that felt empty, has yet again been filled. I didn't understand it then, but I do now according to John 13:7

God moves in a mysterious way
His wonders to perform;
He plants His footsteps in the sea
And rides upon the storm.
Deep in unfathomable mines
Of never failing skill
He treasures up His bright designs
And works His sovereign will.
Ye fearful saints, fresh courage take;
The clouds ye so much dread
Are big with mercy and shall break
In blessings on your head.
Judge not the Lord by feeble sense,
But trust Him for His grace;
Behind a frowning providence
He hides a smiling face.
His purposes will ripen fast,
Unfolding every hour;
The bud may have a bitter taste,
But sweet will be the flower.
Blind unbelief is sure to err
And scan His work in vain;
God is His own interpreter,
And He will make it plain.

Thank you Sir Leslie Scott......

I heard Him...LOUD and CLEAR!!

Sitting at my desk, I have this yearning to just open my Bible. I knew God wanted to say something to me. There was no need to go to a specific book or scripture, because God had it all worked out. God is so amazing. I am battling to give Him praise for being so faithful. It's like you should and want to praise, but you think "will my praise be enough for what he's doing?"
have you ever been at this point?
I know God is always busy working on something great for you and I, but we have to relax. He cannot have it manifest if we keep on murmuring. He gave me this scripture and I trust Him. The LORD said to Samuel, “Watch, I am going to do something in Israel that will shock those who hear about it." 1 Samuel 3:11
If I were to tell you what happened in the beginning of this month, your question to me would be, "Why are you so calm?" Well, I am calm because I trust His word. I trust Him completely. He said "REST" in Me and I will show you what I will do. Those who doubt my ability will be shocked. Samuel didn't even know God when God told him those words. What more will He do for us who does know Him.

Samuel said "Speak Lord, your servant listens", so we need to know how to respond when God speaks. We should listen and obey. This is what I try to do. It's so hard at times but I do get it right when I focus on and blot all else out. I heard God very clear this morning and I intend to rest in His word and wait.
Won't you do the same?

We battle...

This life given to me, will be made use of. I know there is more I can do to change people's lives. So many woman battle with their inner self. Why do they battle? The keep on looking what other woman are doing.
Do you know that, that other woman might be battling with the very same demon you are battling with. If only we can focus on what we can do to keep us busy and stop focusing on others.
...And do you know what happens when you focus on others and what they do, it prevents you from celebrating the other woman and their success. It prevents you from being a true blessing to others. I battle inside as well, that is why I'm writing this. I'm writing because I want a constant reminder of what I was battling with and how I have overcome that battle. My plea to you today, is to do something that can keep you busy, to overcome that battle inside of.
Discover your inner ability and let it out. Be that woman who know when to focus on yourself and when to focus on others in a positive way.
Life should be enjoyed and not endured. I looked at myself, looked at the other woman who battle inside and I discovered, I Am She!
