Stop Pouring Into Empty Cups

December Reflection:

This month feels different.
Not because everything suddenly became easier,
but because clarity finally set in.

All year I’ve watched people move forward.
Not because they were better than me,
not because they had more resources or more support,
but because they made one decision that I was too afraid to make:

They stopped pouring into empty cups.

And here I was — stagnant, tired, drained —
still trying to carry people emotionally, spiritually, mentally,
people who had no intention of growing, healing, or moving.
People who were comfortable where they were,
while I was struggling to hold myself together
and hold them together too.

But now… I see it clearly.
I cannot take everyone where God is taking me.
Not because I am better,
but because the capacity God has given me
is not something everyone can contain.

Some people simply cannot walk this journey.
Not because they’re bad,
but because this path was not assigned to them.

And this year made me realize something deeper:
I stagnated because I kept trying to take people with me
who were never meant to go.
I slowed down because I kept watering cups
that were cracked, empty, unchanging.
I drained myself trying to carry people
who never once asked God to prepare them for the journey.

But this month — the 12th month —
something in my spirit shifted.

Twelve symbolizes governance, authority, divine order.
And I finally understand what that means for me:

This is the month where I take authority
over my boundaries,
over my healing,
over my destiny,
over my time,
over my peace.

This is the month where I say:
“God, align me with what is mine.”

Because everything I’ve been praying for
in the past 11 months
is now coming into order.
Everything that felt delayed
is now being rearranged.
Everything that felt broken
is now being rebuilt.

God is making manifest what He whispered to my heart.
Not because of luck.
Not because of people.
Not because of chance.
But because it is my time.

And as I step into what is rightfully mine,
I accept that not everyone can go with me.
Not everyone can understand where I’m heading.
Not everyone can hold the weight of what God placed in my spirit.
Not everyone can walk a journey
they never had the courage to begin.

So today, I choose to:

✔ Stop pouring into empty cups.
✔ Stop dragging people who were never assigned to my path.
✔ Stop shrinking myself to make others comfortable.
✔ Stop apologizing for evolving.
✔ Stop delaying my own growth out of loyalty to stagnation.

Because where God is taking me now
requires focus, faith, and forward motion.

This has been a rough year.
A stretching year.
A breaking year.
A revealing year.

But it is ending with governance.
With authority.
With divine alignment.
With manifestation.

And as I step into this final stretch of 2025,
I declare over myself:

“God is making manifest His glory through me.
And I will receive everything that is rightfully mine.”

I Am Ending This Year Strong 2025

This year—2025—taught me a lesson I never expected to learn so painfully, yet so powerfully. A lesson I didn’t ask for… but one God knew I needed in order to grow, stand firm, and rise into who He called me to be.

I didn’t realise how much I struggled with the fear of man until life, work, and certain environments exposed it. Not gently. Not quietly. But in a way that shook me, stretched me, and forced me to confront it face to face.

There were days at work where I felt small.
Where I felt silenced.
Where I felt like people could sense my hesitation, my softness, my internal trembling.

And the sad truth?
Some people take pleasure in that.
Some people see your uncertainty and use it to elevate themselves.
Some people see your quiet heart and mistake it for weakness.
Some take your humility and interpret it as fear.

And fear, especially fear of man, becomes a snare.
It traps you.
It silences you.
It makes you shrink even when God told you to stand.
It makes you tolerate things you should have confronted.
It makes you hand over authority to people who never should have had that kind of power over your emotions or your peace.

But what I didn’t see at first was this:

It wasn’t the people.
It was the enemy.

Working through insecurities.
Working through manipulative spirits.
Working through misunderstandings, intimidation, and chaos.
Working through the moments where I questioned myself, my voice, and even my worth.

And I learned—sometimes painfully—that when I showed them my fear, when I let them see my uncertainty, they walked over me without hesitation. Not because they were strong… but because I didn’t yet understand my own strength.

But God.
Oh, but God.
He has a way of using uncomfortable experiences to build spiritual muscle.
He has a way of showing you who people truly are…
while also showing you who YOU truly are in Him.

And slowly, day by day, God started revealing the truth:

People do not have power over me.
God does.
And God is my anchor.

When I felt cornered — God spoke peace.
When I felt intimidated — God whispered courage.
When I felt alone — God covered me.
When I feared failing — God reminded me that no human being holds my destiny or my breakthrough in their hands.

Every moment of pressure this year became a classroom.
Every challenge became a breaking of old patterns.
Every attack became a revelation.
Every insult, every dismissal, every undermining comment became evidence of spiritual warfare — not personal weakness.

And now, standing here in December 2025, I can finally say:

I am ending this year stronger than I started it.

Not because life became easier.
Not because people changed.
But because I changed.
Because God stretched me.
Because I learned how to stand.
Because I learned that courage is not loud — it is anchored.
And my anchor is Christ.

The fear of man nearly trapped me.
It nearly silenced me.
It nearly convinced me that I wasn’t capable, worthy, or strong enough.

But God stepped in and reminded me:

"No person can walk over someone I have covered.
No voice can silence someone I have chosen.
No attack can stop someone I have anointed."

People will always have opinions.
People will always criticize.
People will assume authority that doesn’t belong to them.
People will take pleasure in thinking they have control over you.

But they don’t.
They never did.
And now — I know it too.

This December, I release the fear of man.
I release the weight of other people’s opinions.
I release the intimidation, the shrinking, the self-doubt.

And I take back my voice.
I take back my confidence.
I take back my authority.
I take back my power in Christ.

Because those who trust in the Lord will be safe.
Safe from manipulation.
Safe from fear.
Safe from intimidation.
Safe from the traps the enemy sets through people.

This isn’t just the end of a year.
It is the end of a cycle.
And the beginning of a stronger me.

I am ending this year anchored.
I am ending this year courageous.
I am ending this year unshaken.
And I am ending this year free.

December 2025 Reflection 🪞

Grace… a word we speak so easily, yet only truly understand when life places us in moments where nothing else could have carried us through. As I look back over this year — over the journey, the stretching, the confusion, the breakthroughs, the disappointments that later proved to be divine protection — one truth echoes louder than anything else: Grace was there.

Grace was there when I didn’t think I needed it.
You know those seasons when you feel strong, capable, and steady? When life seems to be flowing, and you believe you can carry yourself? Even then, grace was quietly holding the parts of your story you didn’t even know were fragile. Protecting you from what was forming behind the scenes, guiding you away from what wasn’t meant for you, covering you in ways you couldn’t yet see. That was grace — subtle, gentle, patient.

Grace was there when I put myself in situations I had no business being in.
Let’s be honest — some storms we stepped into willingly. Not because we didn’t know better, but because we were tired, lonely, hopeful, or trying to fill an empty place with the wrong thing. And yet, even in that, grace didn’t leave. It didn’t shame us. It didn’t abandon us. It waited. It covered. It protected us from consequences that could’ve destroyed us. It whispered, “I’ll help you get out of what you got yourself into.”
That’s grace.

Grace was there when I didn’t know how I would get to work.
When transport failed, when the money didn’t make sense, when the budget screamed “impossible” — grace stepped in. Maybe through a friend. Maybe through a miracle. Maybe through strength you didn’t know you had. But somehow… you got there. Somehow… you made it through another day. That wasn’t luck. That wasn’t coincidence. That was grace making a way through impossibility.

Grace was there when I didn’t even have one slice of bread.
We don’t talk enough about those quiet moments — those deep private struggles no one knows about. The days where hunger is both physical and emotional. The days where you question your worth, your future, your strength. Yet even in those moments, grace fed you… not just food, but hope.
Grace kept your faith alive. Grace promised, “This is not your permanent place.”
And it wasn’t.

Grace was there when they said my dreams would fail.
People will always have opinions. They will tell you to be realistic. They will measure your dreams by their own fear. They will project their limitations onto you and expect you to receive them as truth.
But grace reminded me not to share what God had whispered into my spirit.
Not everything meant for you is meant to be spoken aloud. Some dreams grow best in silence. Some visions are safest when guarded. Grace taught me to nurture what God planted in my heart — quietly, privately, faithfully — until the fruit became undeniable.

Grace told me to run with what God said, not with what people thought.

And now… as I step into December 2025, something in me has shifted. Something in me has awakened and settled at the same time. I realize now more than ever:

This journey has nothing to do with luck.
Nothing to do with connections.
Nothing to do with approval.
Nothing to do with who supports you and who doesn’t.

This has everything to do with God — and His grace.

Grace prepared the road long before I walked it.
Grace softened the blows I didn’t see coming.
Grace redirected me every time I wandered.
Grace carried me when I could not carry myself.
Grace held my business together when I had no strength left.
Grace fueled my creativity, my ideas, my resilience.
Grace kept me standing when everything around me looked like it wanted to knock me down.

Grace was there in every disappointment, every closed door, every yes, every breakthrough, every unexpected blessing. Through the tears. Through the doubts. Through the prayers whispered on tired nights. Through the frustrations and the small victories that reminded me why I started.

Grace was there when I thought all I had left was faith the size of a mustard seed. And guess what? That was enough. Grace made sure it was enough.

Now, looking back, I see that every step — even the ones that didn’t make sense — was guided by grace. Every delay was a divine setup. Every hardship shaped character. Every moment of lack taught gratitude. Every moment of abundance taught stewardship. And every season taught me that God’s grace does not run out. It meets you over and over again, right where you are.

I walk into the end of this year not tired, not defeated, not unsure — but deeply aware that I am only where I am because grace never left me.

As I step into what’s next, I carry this truth with me: Grace didn’t just bring me through — grace is taking me further.

And it will do the same for you.

Just because you're weary....

Don’t Bow to the Breakdown

Life has a way of testing us. There are moments when the weight of responsibilities, expectations, and unforeseen challenges presses down so heavily that it feels unbearable. Breakdowns come—sometimes quietly, sometimes violently—but they do not define you. What defines you is how you respond.

When the storms rage, it’s tempting to bow, to let despair take the wheel. But remember: you were not created for defeat. You were created for resilience. Even in your weakest moments, God’s strength carries you. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”

A breakdown is not the end—it’s an invitation to lean into faith, to surrender control, and to trust that something greater is working behind the scenes. It is in these moments that courage is forged, patience is refined, and hope is born anew.

So, don’t bow. Don’t let the noise, the fear, or the pressure steal your peace. Stand firm, even if trembling. Take each small step forward. Speak truth to yourself: I am not defeated. I am becoming stronger. I am held.

Your breakthrough is closer than you think. And when you rise from this, you will rise with clarity, confidence, and a testimony that inspires others.

Let this be your reminder today: the breakdown is temporary, but the strength that emerges from it lasts a lifetime.

Psalm 34:19 – “The righteous person may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all.”

No Shrinking

✨ Built for This ✨

There comes a moment in life when you realize — you were built for this. Every challenge, every setback, every uncomfortable room you’ve had to stand in — it was all preparation.

There’s no shrinking on the job. You didn’t come this far to play small or doubt the power that God placed inside of you. You’ve been equipped with strength, wisdom, and resilience that cannot be shaken. Every assignment placed before you is not meant to break you, but to build you.

There’s no shrinking while leading. Leadership is not always about comfort — it’s about courage. It’s about standing firm even when you’re misunderstood. It’s about showing up, not because it’s easy, but because others are watching how you handle the weight of responsibility. You lead by example, not by fear.

There’s no shrinking while in a meeting. Whether you sit at a table filled with confidence or criticism, remember — you deserve your seat. You worked for it, prayed for it, and you belong there. Lift your head, speak your truth, and let your presence carry the grace and authority that comes from knowing who you are and Whose you are.

And most importantly, there’s no shrinking in your business and personal life. Stop dimming your light because it makes others uncomfortable. Stop apologizing for being bold, focused, and anointed. You’ve been called to stand tall, to shine bright, and to move with divine purpose.

You are built for this — the pressure, the growth, the calling, and the breakthrough. You were never meant to shrink — you were meant to RISE.
Reminder:
“For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind.”
— 2 Timothy 1:7

Still on track at my own pace

Finding That Version of You

Where is she?
The version of you who doesn’t compare her life, her body, her blessings, or her pace to anyone else’s.
The version who wakes up and finds joy in just being — knowing that she is enough because God says she is.

Somewhere along the way, the noise of the world got louder.
We started scrolling, watching, and measuring our worth by what others are doing, saying, or achieving. And before we knew it, that peaceful version of ourselves — the one content with God’s timing — got buried beneath comparison, pressure, and doubt.

But she’s still in there.
The version of you that simply wants to please God and rest in His approval, not people’s applause.
The one who looks in the mirror and doesn’t need validation to feel seen, because she knows He already sees her.

That version of you waits quietly for you to stop chasing and start listening.
She’s ready to breathe again — free from the need to perform, prove, or compete.
She wants you to remember: your purpose was never meant to look like theirs. Your race is sacred, personal, and perfectly designed by the One who called you.

So today, find her again.
Let her rise — the version of you who prays more than she scrolls, who loves herself as she’s growing, and who finds peace in simply walking with God.

Because at the end of the day, when all is said and done, it’s not about them.
It’s about you and Him.

✨ “Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” – Matthew 6:33
🕊️ Reflection / Prayer:

Lord, help me to find her again — the version of me that rests in Your love and not in the world’s approval.
Teach me to be content with who I am becoming in You.
Silence the voices of comparison, doubt, and pressure that try to steal my peace.
Remind me that my worth isn’t measured by achievements, likes, or opinions — but by Your grace and the purpose You’ve placed within me.

Let me walk each day with the quiet confidence that You are pleased when I seek You first.
May I live to honor You and be proud of the woman I am when the day ends — even if no one else sees it.

Amen. 🤍

This is how it has to be.

Battles Not Meant for You

There are moments in life when we find ourselves swinging — not at an enemy we can see, but at the weight of everything pressing against our spirit. We argue, defend, and fight with all our strength… only to end up exhausted, drained, and wondering why we feel so heavy.
The truth is — not every battle is ours to fight. Some battles belong entirely to God.

When we take on fights He never assigned us to, we trade peace for frustration. We start trying to prove, fix, and control things that were never in our hands to begin with. We wrestle with people to be understood, situations to go our way, outcomes to match our plans. And in the end, we’re left tired — not because we’re weak, but because we’re fighting on the wrong battlefield.

God never called you to exhaustion; He called you to trust.
He never asked you to carry it all; He asked you to lay it down.

Sometimes the greatest show of strength is in walking away — not out of defeat, but out of obedience. Because when you stop swinging at shadows, God can finally step in and fight for you.
You’ll know it’s not your battle when peace leaves and confusion enters.
You’ll know it’s not your fight when prayer turns into panic and faith turns into frustration.
That’s when it’s time to surrender — not to the situation, but to the One who already won.

“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” – Exodus 14:14

So today, breathe. Put the sword down.
The battle you’ve been swinging at might not be yours to win.
But it is His to conquer — perfectly, completely, and in His own time.

✨ Let peace be your proof that you’re standing in the right place.

Look out for you. Your cup has been empty way too long

“Single, Married, Divorced — Look Out for Yourself”

Sometimes life just doesn’t slow down. Whether you’re single, married, or divorced, it feels like the world keeps taking pieces of you — your time, your energy, your heart. You keep showing up, you keep pushing through, you keep giving… and somehow, you forget about you.

You take care of everyone else. You make sure the house is fine, the work gets done, the kids are okay, your partner is happy — but when last did you stop and ask, “Am I okay?”

The truth is, you need time out. You deserve it.
Go on that ladies’ camp.
Book that quiet weekend away.
Buy yourself that thing you’ve been putting off because you thought it wasn’t necessary.
It is necessary — because you are necessary.

You’ve been working hard.
You’ve been showing up on days when your heart was heavy.
You’ve smiled through pain, kept faith through fear, and carried others while silently trying to hold yourself together. That takes strength. But even the strongest woman needs rest, joy, and something that’s just hers.

I know how it feels to pour so much into others that you forget what it feels like to be full yourself. I know what it’s like to sit quietly at night and wonder if anyone truly sees how much you do. But God sees it. He sees you.

Even Jesus, in the midst of all His miracles and ministry, took time to rest — to step away from the crowd and just be.
Luke 5:16 says, “But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.”

If He needed that, so do you.

So, this is your reminder, my dear sister:
💖 Take the break.
💖 Go to that camp.
💖 Buy the dress, the shoes, or the perfume.
💖 Sit in silence with your coffee and let the world wait.

You’ve earned it. You deserve it.

Whether you are single and figuring things out, married and managing it all, or divorced and rediscovering yourself — this is your moment to choose you again.

Because the truth is, you can’t pour from an empty cup.
Fill yours first.

Scripture Reminder:
“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28 🌿

Planted with Purpose

When the Beginning Feels Heavy

Being the founder of LMB BRANDS Body and Beauty Products isn’t easy. Some days, it feels like I’m walking through fog — trying to hold on to the vision that only I can see. It’s still very early days, and yes, business is slow. Orders come in here and there, and I pour so much of myself into every product, every label, every idea — hoping it reaches the right hands, the right hearts.

There are moments when doubt creeps in quietly — moments when I wonder, “Is this really going to work?” But then I remember why I started. I remember the late nights mixing oils, testing scents, designing packaging, praying over every jar and bottle — believing that this is more than just a business. It’s a piece of purpose.
The truth is, building something from nothing takes time. It takes courage to show up even when no one’s clapping yet. It takes faith to keep creating when you can’t yet see the full harvest of your effort. But I remind myself daily — slow growth is still growth. Every customer who loves their bath soak, every message of encouragement, every repeat order… it all matters.

I’m learning that success isn’t just in the numbers — it’s in the persistence, the patience, and the belief that what I’m doing is worth it. There’s beauty in the struggle, because it’s shaping me into someone stronger, more grounded, and more grateful.
So no, I won’t quit.
I’ll keep pouring, praying, and pressing forward — because LMB BRANDS was planted with purpose.

Reminder
“Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.”
— Zechariah 4:10

You will live

Buried to Grow

There are moments in life when you feel hidden.
You’ve prayed, you’ve waited, and still… nothing seems to move. It feels like life has buried you — under responsibilities, disappointments, or the quiet ache of unanswered prayers.

But lately, I’ve come to understand something beautiful:
I’m not buried to die… I’m buried to grow. 🌱

When a seed is planted, it’s covered in darkness. It’s pressed into the soil, unseen, and left alone for a while. But beneath the surface, something sacred is happening. That seed is breaking open so it can become what it was meant to be.

Maybe that’s where you are right now — in the breaking, in the becoming.
And it’s okay. Growth often begins in the quiet, hidden places.

God hasn’t forgotten you.
He’s working in the soil of your life, even when you can’t see it.

> “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,
“plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future.”
— Jeremiah 29:11 🌿

You may feel unseen, but you are planted with purpose.
Every tear, every waiting moment, every closed door — it’s preparing you for what’s ahead.
Sometimes God covers you because the world isn’t ready for your bloom yet.

When it’s time, you’ll rise.
When it’s time, everything that tried to bury you will become the very ground that feeds your growth.

> “The Lord will perfect that which concerns me.”
— Psalm 138:8 💛

So while you’re waiting, keep believing.
Keep nurturing your faith.
Keep trusting that your roots are going deeper, your strength is being renewed, and your breakthrough is on its way.

You may feel buried right now — but in God’s timing, you’ll bloom into everything He promised you’d be.

Reminder
“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven.”
— Ecclesiastes 3:1 🌷

Seasons and Reason

Know When It’s Time

There comes a point in life when holding on hurts more than letting go.
When peace whispers louder than the noise you’ve been trying to fix.
When your spirit gently nudges you and says, “It’s time.”

Not every person, place, or situation is meant to stay forever. Some things — and some people — are meant to be lessons, not lifetimes. They come for a reason, they serve a season, and when their purpose is fulfilled, it’s okay to release them.

We often struggle with that truth because our hearts want to hold on. We remember the good moments, the laughter, the dreams we built in our minds. But seasons change, and so do people. Sometimes God closes a door not because He’s punishing you, but because He’s protecting you — from what can no longer grow you.

There’s wisdom in knowing when it’s time:
To stop explaining yourself to people who never listen.
To stop fighting battles that steal your peace.
To stop watering relationships that no longer bear fruit.
To stop returning to places your soul has outgrown.

Change can feel lonely, but it’s often where your growth begins. Don’t fear the ending — embrace it as the space where something new can start.

So if you’ve been feeling that quiet tug in your heart, that uneasy knowing… maybe it’s time.
Time to let go.
Time to move forward.
Time to trust that what’s ahead will be better than what’s behind.

Thought
“To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven.”
— Ecclesiastes 3:1 🌷

Faith Requires My Participation

I have asked God for financial increase, but I am learning that faith requires action. I cannot ask God for more while refusing ...
