I'm giving it to You

I suppose when I write how I feel, make the burden lighter. When I can't seem to find the peace I had a week ago or even an hour ago.
Writing what and how I feel keeps me sane, because that is how God deals with me. That Is how can I can express myself through words spoken by God.
Time after time I ask God to remove any sort of burden, but it never works. There are even times that I feel so lost, forgetting the same who carried me through last year, did it again this year. He even carried me through the night by allowing me to rest so I can be fresh to complete today's assignments, but that is what I forget about this powerful God.
Instead of just trusting God, I complain to Him, I tell Him to remove this cup from me.
Then He reminds me of Jesus who asked Him to remove this cup (Luke 22:41-42). Then I'm reminded that Jesus also said "But do what You want and not what I want."
"Easy for Him to say, He is the Son of God" I'm thinking to myself. I'm only human. I'm so weak. Look at how I'm complaining for every thing that comes my way.
God is saying, "Let SELF die and let Me be the take care of what's bothering you."
I'm sitting here today thinking, so many of my friends lost a husband. So many of my friends lost a child, so many miscarried, so many have no home, no food, no family to call their own, and I complain. Yes, it's not nice to go though pain. When all you want is peace in your life. I then once again realise, that PEACE is the magic word.
I will never have peace if I want to solve the problems by making my own plans. I cannot move forward when I'm the one who cannot lay that burden down, at the feet of the Cross. I cannot tell others of the goodness of God when I choose to forget what great things He has done for me yesterday or any other day.
I will stay where I am if I focus and complain about things that's not even my problem.
The Spirit of God wants me to do all things without complaining so that I can be blameless in this perverse and wicked world.
I am well aware there will always be challenges. I am well aware that my faith will always be tested, but I choose to ask God, "Lord, what can I lesson learn from this challenge I'm facing today?"
I choose to say, "Father, if you will, please don't make suffer by having me drink from this cup. But do what you want, and not what I want." Luke 22:41-42
Let us be strong and know that the peace God gives, is far greater than what the world gives.

Never Forgotten...Always Loved

Many things we face try to rob us of the sense of God's peace and presence in our lives. Pressures, hectic schedules and disappointments are some of the enemies that war against us.
In the midst of life's stress we need to be reminded of the heart and mind of God towards us. he assures us that we are never out of His thoughts and always close to His heart.
There is never a time when He is indifferent to our pain or unresponsive to our needs. His arms are always open...His ear is always listening...His eyes is always watching...His heart is always loving.

The need for us to 'encourage one another" is the aim of my writing and what you will read when the book is done. That you will always remember, each one of us have a story to tell and some write about it.
I have been around the same mountain many times, until I decided "it stops right here and right now". God has beautiful thoughts towards us and when we go through the fire think of what David says:
"How precious are Your thoughts that are far beyond my understanding. I try to count Your thoughts, but they outnumber the grains of sand on the beach. And when I awake, I will find You nearby."
 Psalm 139:17-18
Wherever we find ourselves at, God is and will always be near. He is so faithful. He will do what He says in His word. Please spend as much time in the word of God in order for you to over come any obstacle, any situation and to discover peace. I have heard of and seen many people go through difficult times, but they have over come. They are victorious.
I AM SHE!!!  I AM VICTORIOUS!

The [Lord] Is Always Near

You have looked deep into my heart, [Lord], and you know all about me.
You know when I am resting
or when I am working, and from heaven you discover my thoughts.
You notice everything I do and everywhere I go.
Before I even speak a word, you know what I will say,
and with your powerful arm you protect me from every side.
I can't understand all of this!
Such wonderful knowledge is far above me.
Where could I go to escape from your Spirit or from your sight?
If I were to climb up to the highest heavens, you would be there. If I were to dig down to the world of the dead you would also be there.
Suppose I had wings like the dawning day and flew across the ocean.
Even then your powerful arm
would guide and protect me.
Or suppose I said, "I'll hide in the dark until night comes to cover me over."
But you see in the dark because daylight and dark are all the same to you.
You are the one who put me together inside my mother's body,
and I praise you because of
the wonderful way you created me. Everything you do is marvelous! Of this I have no doubt.  Nothing about me is hidden from you! I was secretly woven together out of human sight,
but with your own eyes you saw my body being formed. Even before I was born, you had written in your book everything about me.
Your thoughts are far beyond my understanding, much more than I could ever imagine.
I try to count your thoughts,
but they outnumber the grains of sand on the beach. And when I awake, I will find you nearby.
How I wish that you would kill
all cruel and heartless people and protect me from them!
They are always rebelling and speaking evil of you.
You know I hate anyone who hates you, [Lord], and refuses to obey.
They are my enemies too, and I truly hate them.
Look deep into my heart, God,
and find out everything I am thinking.
Don't let me follow evil ways,
but lead me in the way that time has proven true.

The Feeling at the Conference

A week after the "I Am She" Conference and I'm still reflecting on the message God has given me months ago. I'm reflecting on the assignment I had and what God was going to do. While planning the conference, I had all sorts of feelings. Emotions were running high and I was anxious at times and I had so much joy. I knew this was an assignment straight from God.
I am busy writing a book and one of the chapters are:
SHE HAS FEELINGS
"Her emotions are an integral part of her womanhood. She experiences intensely the joys of life. But at times she also experiences negative emotions such as sadness, despondency, or inferiority."
I discovered so many times that "I Am She". That is what I've experienced with this assignment, but not once has God left my side when others decided to withdraw their promises.
I thank God for those who left my side, it made me stronger because the ones who stayed saw what God wants to do.
One lady e-mailed me and said. This is not the exact word but I know what she meant. "Leslene, you are God's hand-maiden, called for a time as this. Don't abort this baby. The vision will be aborted prematurely and you will always wonder what God wanted to do."
Today, I am sitting here writing, I feel joy because I am glad I did not abort the assignment given to me. Hundreds of people didn't show up, but those who came was led by God knowing they will receive from God. People I've never met showed up and brought gifts to bless the ladies.
I am in awe of God's faithfulness when ugly words was thrown from the nay sayers. I had a desire, God birthed it for such a time as this. I carried it full term and God delivered as He promised.
Just like Hannah, I prayed when I experienced intense emotions. Just like Hannah I can say: "The Lord has filled my heart with joy; how happy I am because of what He has done. I laugh at my enemies; how joyful I am because God has helped me. 1Sam. 2:1
Never ever give up when God has called you to fulfil His Vision. He will never ever leave you.
I am so excited for "I Am She" 2014. I hope to see you there.

A special thanks to my husband Marco, who supports me when God has spoken. Who adheres to every assignment. Who is strong when I feel weak. Who loves me just as Christ loves the church.
To my daughter Keachia-Leigh and my son Wade Joshua, who hurts when I hurt. Who reminds me of what God is saying when I go in the wrong direction. Who at this young age, knows that God has called them to be apart of this vision, and who never questions me when God speaks through me. Who follows when I say; "This is what God wants us to do. This is what God is saying."

God has a perfect plan - 22nd No'13

Tomorrow is the big day. The "I Am She" Conference. I am nervous, but excited. God has a plan and I know this is not the season to miss out. Whatever God is busy doing in this season, He wants you to be apart if it. Join us tomorrow as we celebrate the 1st annual "I Am She" Conference 2013. See you there.
There were so many times I've wanted to cancel, then somebody comes and motivates me. A week before the conference, I've had nothing to give to the ladies. Our was broken for 3 weeks and all this happened before the conference. I know God was in all disappointments I've had during this journey, but I keep on trusting where I cannot see.
A day before the conference and my lounge is packed with gifts, magazines, crockery, etc. Things I didn't pay for. Things sponsored by friends, family and co-workers. I am in awe of the Greatness of God.
That us what God can do. Trust In Him a He will direct your path. He will lead the way because He has a plan.
I don't know how many women will come, but I trust, those who will come will have an awesome time and God will show up.

She is a wife

She is one with her husband
Jesus answered, "Haven't you read the scripture that says that in the beginning the Creator made people male and female? And Go said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and unite with his wife, and the two will become one.' So they are no longer two, but one. No human being must separate, then, what God has joined together.
-Matthew 19:4-6

She is beautiful to him
How beautiful you are, my love; how your eyes shine with love!
-Song of songs 1:15

She loves him very much
My lover is mine and I am his. He feeds his flock among the lillies until the morning breezes blow and the darkness disappears.
Return my darling, like a gazelle, like a stag on the mountains of Bether.
Asleep on my bed, night after night I dreamt of the one I love;
I was looking for him, but couldn't find him. I went wondering through the city, through it's streets and alleys.
I looked for the one I love.
I looked, but couldn't find him. The watchmen patrolling the city saw me. I asked them, "Have you found my lover?" As soon as I left them, I found him. I held him and wouldn't let go until I took him to my mother's house, to the room where I was born.
-Song of songs 2:16-34

She compliments him
His thighs are columns of alabaster set in sockets of gold.
He is majestic, like the Lebanon Mountain with their towering cedars.
His mouth is sweet to kiss; everything about him enchants me. This is what my lover is like, women of Jerusalem.
-Song of songs 5:15-16

She needs his love
Leah became pregnant and gave birth to a son. She said, "The Lord has seen my trouble, and now my husband will love me." So she named him Reuben.
-Genesis 29:32

Pretenders

"Behold, I am insignificant; what can I reply to Thee? I lay my hand on my mouth." - Job 40:4

This is a special message and it's one that I didn't particularly enjoy writing. However, it needs to be said again and again.
This message is to all you church-going pretenders out there - the ones who look heavenly on Sunday, but live like hell Monday through Saturday. You look good on the outside but when God looks at your insides - inside your heart - it's a dirty mess!
I've got bad news for you. Jesus hates religious pretence. But I've also got good news. He loves the pretenders! He gave His life for hypocrites like you and me. The end of being a religious pretenders is to admit our sin separates us from God; then ask Christ's forgiveness; then believe to be right with God is your only hope for change.

And here's the irony: When we begin to be more real with God and with others, we begin to be more like Jesus. He's the only person who has ever lived without any trace of pretence.

It has to leave your mouth

I was lying in bed, thinking about the “I Am She” Conference, wondering what God is up to. I just know that He has this amazing day all set out and doing something great for somebody on that day.
I was reading about the lady with the issue of blood and we all know the story of how she suffered all her life…how she spent all her money at various doctors…but still no healing. I this woman sitting with pain and suffering, taking all kinds of advice from others but nothing is working. After suffering for years, she hears about a man who can heal her and has this longing within her.
OMW, this Man is in town and she does everything in her power to get to Him.

She had to get up, out of her situation….and how did she do that? She made a decision. What happens when you make a decision, knowing what you decide is best for you. Not being worried what others will say?
This is what Mark 5:28 says:
For she said to herself, “If I can only touch His coat, I will be healed.”

When she told herself that this Man can heal her, she already received her healing. I believe it was not even necessary for her to touch Him, but she wanted to, to make it even more real.
I tell you today…Nothing leaves Heaven until the words leave your mouth. We cannot expect healing to come if we don’t declare it and believe it. The two most important voices in your life today it:
God’s voice and your voice. Faith comes by hearing and hearing the Word of God. You have to hear yourself speak the Word. The woman with the issue of blood said to herself…..”IF I CAN ONLY TOUCH HIS COAT, I WILL BE HEALED.”
Yes, it’s not easy at times, but it is possible.

And you discover: I Am She!

Just like the widow

Have you ever paged through a magazine and wished that you could be one of the interesting, beautiful, and talented woman described in the article? You read about their thoughts and opinions, their taste and music, their favorite food, the books they love to read, their achievements, and how they manage to rise above difficult circumstances. You see the clothes they wear, the way they decorate their homes, and you delight in their lifestyle. And involuntarily you think: “This is the picture of perfection-I want to be like her.”

Let me ask you this:
Does the girl in the magazine have a close relationship with God?

Having a close relationship with God is the most important dimension of womanhood.
She lives in a unique faith relationship with God. She really loves the Lord and seeks his will for her life.

She loves the Lord very deeply; He is at the centre of her life.

As Jesus sat near the temple treasury, he watched the people as they dropped in their money. Many rich men dropped in a lot of money; then a poor widow came along and dropped in two little copper coins, worth about a penny. He called his disciples together and said to them, “I tell you this poor widow put more in the offering box than all the others. For the others put in what they had to spare of their riches; but she, poor as she is, put in all she had-she gave all she had to live on.” Matthew 12:41-44

Take A Good Look - This Is SHE!!!!

Where do I start? If I should start at the waaaaaaaay back beginning, I would have to call in some people to share their story and their experience regarding this beautiful woman, Zenneline Louw. This is a true real life story of a girl who can say "I Am She"
Life has not been easy, but I see a woman who can say "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." I had her in my life where we shared so many beautiful days and nights. heheheheee!! I have hurt her so many times and she has been so horribly hard on me(which I NOW see as a blessing).
I want to salute this woman for where she's been and where she's going.
If you think your life is hard and nothing will ever come right, let me tell you. This lady can utter the very same words and even worse, BUT she won't. She is so confident in the good work the Lord started within her and she knows He is able and willing to complete it. She has 3 daughters and I know there are times she fears that they will have the very hard life she had, but with God on her side she has the authority to cancel out all negative words ever spoken in their lives.
I salute her today because of the love she has for woman, men and the love she has for herself. She has her own Life Coaching Company called Evolution Coaching and she is good. www.evolutioncoaching.co.za

You see this picture of her, she represents her company. I see a King's daughter and she has been called for such a time as this. She has been called to stand in the gap for those who does not know how to pray. She has been called to love those who has never experienced the love of God. She has been called to rejoice with those who does not know how. She has been called to rejoice with those who are glad. She has been called to speak life when you don't know how. She has been called to teach the word of God when she is at her lowest and yet to rise with you when you are at your lowest. She has been called to refresh others and in turn she will be refreshed. With all that she's been through, she knows how to be humble, how to stand firm when all odds are against her. She knows how to encourage, www.live2encourage.blogspot.com,
My prayer today is that we will not just look at a pretty face and say "she does not know life". Let us see what God saw when David was chosen as King. God looks at the heart. Let us give honor where honor is due. Let us not be selfish and let us not judge the way I did more than a year ago when Zenneline Louw put me straight. Today, I have a friend back who has the mind and heart of Christ, who does not have it all rosie but trusts God in all that she does.

To Zenneline Louw:
"The King shall greatly desire your beauty. Worship Him, he is your Lord. The daughter of Tyre shall bring you a gift and the rich among the people shall desire your favor." Psalm 45:11-12
Never give up on your dreams, never give up on life. "Do not cast away your confidence, payday(reward) is coming. You have need of endurance and after you have done the will of God, you will receive the promise." Hebrews 10:35-36
I am challenged by what you have to offer. I am challenged because you live for Christ. I am challenged because you can say "I AM SHE!!"

IT IS ONLY HIM

What He has done for me is so amazing. The love he has for me, I cannot explain. All I know is I once was lost and now I'm found. I was blind but now I see; and I know he will do for you what He's done for me.
What an amazing song sung by Martha Munizzi and i can surely relate.
"..the Mighty one has done great things for me and holy is His name" Luke 1:49

Today, I stand victorious in Him. When I opened my eyes this morning I felt this huge sense of peace. I felt a newness about me and about my husband and as I felt that I knew whatever me and my husband feels will flow down to our kids. God clearly said that He wants to bless us and it will come forth very soon. Whatever we ask in His name will be established. Se today as a fresh new start. See today as the day whom God has ordained where someone will come in to your life with that blessing, but because you are holding on to old relationships it cannot happen. Some relationships should stay in the realm where you coming from. "Do not consider the old things. Behold, I will do anew thing. Now it shall come forth; do you know this? I will even make a road in the wilderness." Isaiah 43:18b-19.

God really wants to do a new thing in your life. I went on a ladies camp and I feel brand new. God has spoken. I've had that encounter with God, the one I called forth. No one could do for me what I longed for. It is only Him. I have the power within me to build and to destroy and so do you. You are where you are today because you made a decision. You are who you are today because you made a decision. If you don't like where you are at or who you've become, I would say "IT IS TIME YOU MAKE A DECISION."

Do you long for change? Today, I can say "I AM SHE" and I decided to change and SO CAN YOU.

Is the Proverbs 31 Woman For Real?

Have you ever wondered – “Who is this nameless, perfect woman that Solomon writes about in Proverbs 31? Is she for real?” The answer is “no” and “yes”. Let me explain.  Once upon a time there was a prince who would one day be a King. While he was young his mother wisely trained her son on how to find a virtuous wife. She went through the alphabet one letter at a time giving him attributes that he was to seek out in his future wife. Using the alphabet in this manner made it easier for her son to remember and even perhaps memorize what he was looking for in his dream wife. And thus, we have the writings of Proverbs 31 – except this is not a fairy tale!

So is she for real? Does she have a name? No. Proverbs 31:1 says “The sayings of King Lemuel – an oracle his mother taught him…” and then verses 2-9 are instructions on how to be a Godly King. She taught him to be on guard against promiscuity and drunkenness and encouraged him to tend to the poor. Then in verses 10-31 she instructs him on how to find the perfect Godly wife – she has no name – just a superior character.
But I must ask… would King Lemuel’s mother give him detailed instructions on what to look for in a wife if there were no women who could possibly have this kind of character? In verse 10 we will see that she is a rare treasure – but she does exist. Does that give you hope – or does it overwhelm you to even attempt to reach for such excellence?

“Let’s see… I do not like getting up while it is dark. I wouldn't know how to buy a field  or a vineyard. I like to go to sleep very early when possible. I can be quite lazy at times. I definitely couldn't even begin to patch a hole in my husband’s pants let alone actually sew some new creation. I wish every word out of my mouth was wise, but my husband can attest to my lack of common sense; and I am not always sure if my husband has full confidence in me. (Although if asked I am sure he would say, “Of course I do!”)”.

She said exactly what I was thinking the first time I read Proverbs 31! And I love her six conclusions from her study of the Proverbs 31 woman! Her post sparked something inside of me – and gave me a desire to begin a series here on my blog going verse by verse through Proverbs 31. I want to go one verse at a time,
one virtue at a time – and encourage you to master one verse and virtue at a time – with God’s help, it truly is possible for you to be her.

Thanks Courtney Joseph
